Words Are Everything: A Collection Of Quotes That Move Me

Two things to know about me:

  1. I adore the written word (obviously, or we wouldn’t be here together on this blog); and
  2. I am obsessed with lists; I even write lists for my lists.

So, I decided to put the two together and share some of the quotes I’ve been collecting for a while now. For the record, I have not gone searching for these quotes, I have stumbled upon them randomly (one I received from a friend) and jotted down those in which I find meaning. Some are old, some are new. Some are serious, some are fun. But they all speak to me in their own special way. This is not an exhaustive list (clearly); I will continue to add to it as I discover new words that move me. And if you, dear readers, have any beloved quotes of your own, please pass them along.

Without further ado (these are in no particular order):
